About ESPEK

What is ESPEK?

ESPEK stands for Engineered Surface Protection. It is one connected system of automotive protection products: VECTOR paint protection film, VISION windshield protection film, SPECTRA window film, FIT installation chemicals and CARE aftercare.

Can I buy ESPEK film directly?

ESPEK films are sold and installed through certified ESPEK installers, so every installation meets the same standard and can be registered for warranty. Find an installer near you. Businesses interested in reselling can send a dealer inquiry.

Paint protection film

What does paint protection film do?

PPF is a clear (or colored) film applied to painted surfaces. It absorbs stone chips and helps protect the paint from scratches, stains and everyday road wear.

Does VECTOR PPF self-heal?

Yes. Every VECTOR film passes our self-healing test: light swirls and fine scratches in the top coat recover with heat, such as warm sun or warm water. VECTOR MASTERPIECE recovers at room temperature.

Which VECTOR film is right for me?

VECTOR ORIGIN for daily drivers, VECTOR PRO for more road and high-impact front ends, VECTOR MASTERPIECE for premium vehicles and long-term ownership, VECTOR MATTE for a satin finish and VECTOR COLOR for a new color with protection. Compare VECTOR films.

Window film

How much UV does SPECTRA window film block?

Every SPECTRA film blocks more than 99% of UV rays, across all shades, according to our technical data. See the measured data.

What is the difference between carbon, ceramic and metal films?

SPECTRA BLACK is a non-metallic carbon film with a deep, stable black. SPECTRA FUSION combines carbon and nano ceramic for balanced heat rejection. SPECTRA CERAMIC uses nano ceramic for high clarity and strong infrared (heat) rejection. SPECTRA METAL and METAL IR use a reflective metal layer for high heat rejection and a reflective look. SPECTRA MASTERPIECE is our flagship multi-layer nano coating film.

Will window film interfere with GPS or mobile signal?

SPECTRA BLACK, FUSION and CERAMIC are non-metallic films designed not to interfere with phone, GPS or radio signals. SPECTRA METAL and METAL IR contain a metal layer; ask your installer which film suits your vehicle and devices.

What tint level is legal where I live?

Window tint laws vary by state or country and by window position. Your installer can recommend a shade that meets local rules. Final compliance is the vehicle owner’s responsibility.

My new tint looks hazy or has small water pockets. Is that normal?

Yes. Some moisture remains after installation and dries out on its own, usually within a few days to a few weeks depending on the weather. Ask your installer when it is safe to roll the windows down.

Windshield protection film

What is VISION GLASS SHIELD?

A high-elasticity optical film for the windshield. It absorbs stone-chip impacts, keeps visible light transmission above 90% with haze below 1%, and has a water-repellent top coat. It installs at room temperature without heat forming. See the properties.

Care & installation products

How should I wash a car with PPF or window film?

Use a film-safe shampoo such as CARE CLEANSE with a soft microfiber mitt. Avoid abrasive polishes and harsh chemicals, and keep pressure washers away from film edges.

Can I apply a ceramic coating over PPF?

Yes. CARE SHIELD is a ceramic coating made for PPF and film surfaces. It adds water repellency and contamination resistance and makes regular cleaning easier.

What are FIT SERIES products for?

FIT SERIES are professional installation chemicals: FIT RESET prepares the surface, FIT FLOW (gel) and FIT GLIDE (liquid) help position the film, and FIT LOCK secures edges and curves. See FIT SERIES.

How long is the warranty?

How do I register or check my warranty?
